swan5250 asked: i am an american living in TJ, the other day i saw a dog living in a parking lot covered in mange so bad she had open sores, and fleas swarming around her eyes. i went into a pharmacy nearby but didnt even have enough money for the things i needed. i have always wanted to start some kind of a program to intervene in cases like this. there is no shortage of animals suffering here. if i could arrange and train several groups of americans from san diego or anywhere really, anyways i have always wanted to start a program but havent been able to obtain the level of financial freedom to do so on my own as of yet, and im tired of waiting. i barely have enough to feed myself 1/2 the time muchless a bunch of street dogs. anyone got any ideas of places that would donate medication and stuff to help me start something like this. i really feel like this is my calling in life to really make the difference we all think about doing w/ our lives. im tired of waiting.

Richard S asked: All of this talk about this woman being deported, do you believe that? Since when does the INS take you to a border town and drop you off? Nuevo Laredo, Juarez, and Tijuana are all less than fifty yards away from the United States.
If you think the USA was really interested in taking this woman back to Mexico, you are naive! They ususally drop them inside or on the other side of Mexico. A COYOTE can easily get her back in the country simply by showing her the right path to walk. If she chooses, she can shop in San Diego and go back to Tijuana on a daily basis.
If INS wanted her, they could have gotten here. She did not stay in that church every day all year. Obvious, she became an embarrassment because she openly exposed how INS is a joke. In order to cover up their own vulnerablity, they had to take her. Most INS agents are Mexicans (go figure), so I wonder why she was simply taken to Tijuana? Wake, don’t be so GULLIBLE!!!!

bliss375 asked: I was under the impression you can as long as it is not pain pills or any U.S. scheduled drug. Does anyone know if foreigners can buy it, or if you have to be Mexican? Also, does anyone know roughly how much it will cost and if it will be the generic version? I live in San Diego, but want to go to Tijuana to get meds cheaper.

shannon asked: I will be in LA for a week in Aug. and wanted to drive to Tijuana one day. Is it worth going? Is it safe to visit in the daytime (3 women going)? Do you have to have a passport to go? And how long does it take to drive there? Thanks
Now I live on the east coast and this may sound dumb but if I park my car in san diego then how do I get to Tijuana? Are there some type of shuttle buses? or is there a parking lot at the border where you can just walk into Mexico?
