Adventurer asked: I don’t have a US passport, just my driver’s license. Can I go south to places like Accapulco and Puerto Vallarta by bus or plane with just my US driver’s license for ID? If so, what’s the best way? If not, what is needed for me to visit these places? Also, how much would it cost?

oceanmagic asked: I really enjoyed my 4 days in Tijuana 3 years ago. I am going to Oceanside, CA next week. I was thinking of going to Tijuana for a day or maybe two. Is there any good reliable transportation that would take me there, from Oceanside, or from Downtown San Diego? Or any where convenient in the San Diego area? I know there is a bus at the border in San Ysidro. We took it before. And Yes, I have a passport. We rented a car the last time and drove down from Washington state. But I don’t want to drive this time, if I can help it. As I am flying down to stay in Oceanside. Thank you for any helpful info you can give me.

shannon asked: I will be in LA for a week in Aug. and wanted to drive to Tijuana one day. Is it worth going? Is it safe to visit in the daytime (3 women going)? Do you have to have a passport to go? And how long does it take to drive there? Thanks
Now I live on the east coast and this may sound dumb but if I park my car in san diego then how do I get to Tijuana? Are there some type of shuttle buses? or is there a parking lot at the border where you can just walk into Mexico?

preciouz asked: My oath is ’til next month. I want to go to tijuana. And my husband is asking me to go with him. My greencard is expired for months already, I have another country’s passport, and i’m just waiting for my oath. Do they ask for prove of either citizenship or permanent resident or just driver’s license…can any one help me answer this questions? I really want to go, it will be my fist time.
