I would like to know what is the most economical way to travel from Anaheim to Tijuana. I heard that you could stop in San Diego and take the trolley or something. How long will this travel take?

Another one would be, how do I get to Vegas from Anaheim? Any other attractions besides the casinos?
Thanks in advanced!

Anaheim to TJ, take 5 south, park in the parking lot on the US side and walk accross the boarder. Drug wars going on, I recommend not going.

Theres lots to do in Vegas, amusements, shows, Hoover dam, lake mead, there are shops where you can rent a machine gun and shoot it in their range, food, outside of town theres brothels, just do a web search on Las Vegas.
well you could take the amtrak from Anahiem station
to San Diego then take the trolley to the Border the train would
take about 2 hours and about 40 mintues for the trolley
and walk arcoss the border to TJ
as Anahiem there are several tours operators
have daily service to Las Vegas
or another option but you have to get to union station first
to take megabus from Los Angeles to Las Vegas
and you plan this in adavance you might end paying only $1.00

You could take the Amtrak but from Anaheim to San Diego its $20.00. The Greyhound Bus Line is $17.50. The Amtrak takes you to Downtown San Diego. The Greyhound will take you to San Ysidro which is the city on our side of the border.
If you decide to take the Amtrak which is a way more comfortable ride, you will get dropped off in downtown San Diego, meaning you will need to take the trolley to the border, you can catch in the same station that Amtrak drops you off at. There you can buy a ticket and hop on for an about 40 minute ride.
If you decide on the Greyhound Bus Ride, which is not as comfortable but a bit of a shorter ride, you just need to cross the bridge to the other side of the freeway, and you can cross by foot.
Taxis will be waiting for you as soon as you cross. So just take your pick at the sea of yellow cabs.
Have fun. TJ is very interesting, and has a lot to offer. If for some reason you dont want to cross by foot because maybe you dont trust the taxis. Once you cross the bridge you will see several buses that drive you across the border and take you straight to Revolucion Street, which is the main street with all the restaurant and clubs, pharmacies, etc. They have a location where they take off throughout the day, and they’ll let you know, just keep that in mind and remember where you get off the bus. If im not mistaken they leave every 15-30 minutes up until a certain time, and they’ll drive you back across the border. Once they reach the border, you get off the bus and get in line so Immigration can check your ID. Remember you only need your drivers license. No passport necessary until 01/01/08. After Immigration checks your ID you get back on the bus and they take you back to where you first got on in the San Diego side.
The first time i went into Tijuana, i did it this way and i felt so much better than taking a Taxi. Now i’ve been living in San Diego for so long i know Tijuana too well, where i can just drive in.
Have fun…
