Tijuana is a popular Northwestern Mexico city, loctaed in Baja California Norte, is a hybrid between the good and the bad: known for it’s historical sites, legendary bullfighting coliseums, beautiful white-sand beaches, popular discos and shopping areas, Tijuana is also considered to be Mexico’s biggest illicit drug and prostitution center.
Tijuana is recognized for it’s accelerated economic growth, which places it as the fourth most important city in Mexico. Tijuana has an ideal climate, Mediterranean type throughout the year with a temperature average of 21°C.

Tijuana weather is considered “Mediterranean”type , in other words, every year we enjoy in a comfortable average temperature of 21 °C.

Suggested Attire
Weather in Tijuana will demand very little of your wardrobe. Days are usually sunny, during the whole year with a temperature average 21°C, in the evenings are cool. Even in summer we recommend you to bring a pullover or light jacket. Some restaurants, bars and discotheques require more formal attire , we recommend to you to bring suitable clothes.
INMIGRATION RULES AND REGULATION
Once you come to Tijuana, it will become attractive to cross the Border to the United States, we recommend to you to bring your international passport with current visa. If you are not resident, it is not possible to proceed with this document in Tijuana.
Customs
If you acquire products in the United States and want to introduce them to Mexico, by land or air route you are allowed to import every day, without payment of taxes, goods for personal consumption the equivalent one to $ 50.00 dollars cumulative to direct relatives who travel inside the vehicle.
Consider the following:
* You must pass thru the AUTODECLARATION lane when you exceed your franchise.
* Medical equipment and instruments require special permit from Mexico’s division of health.
* Allowed also are 3 liters of liquor and 3 liters of table wine or 6 liters of table and two bundles of cigarettes, as well as 25 cigars per foreign visitors to the interior of the republic. For commercial activities a proper import process mu use it must be completed, and this process can be meet by a registered customs agency or custom broker.
* The increased amount of $300.00 dollars is only permited in the periods of spring break, summer vacation and December season.
* This process does not apply when shipping merchandise is envolved.
* Bringing in $10,000 dollars in cash or more to Mexico must be declared.
