swan5250 asked: i am an american living in TJ, the other day i saw a dog living in a parking lot covered in mange so bad she had open sores, and fleas swarming around her eyes. i went into a pharmacy nearby but didnt even have enough money for the things i needed. i have always wanted to start some kind of a program to intervene in cases like this. there is no shortage of animals suffering here. if i could arrange and train several groups of americans from san diego or anywhere really, anyways i have always wanted to start a program but havent been able to obtain the level of financial freedom to do so on my own as of yet, and im tired of waiting. i barely have enough to feed myself 1/2 the time muchless a bunch of street dogs. anyone got any ideas of places that would donate medication and stuff to help me start something like this. i really feel like this is my calling in life to really make the difference we all think about doing w/ our lives. im tired of waiting.

There’s gonna be an anime event in Tijuana, Mexico saturday April 1st from 12:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. in CECUT.
There will be a Cosplay competition, and various other activities befote the cosplay contest such as a Yogioh tournament, Video game tournament (KOF 2002, Marvel Vs Capcom 2, Dance Dance Revolution), Workshop: “Como hacer un filme casero de calidad” (Spanish, sorry), anime showcase, amongst others.
Rafadro y Mario Super 8 are gonna be there as guest DJ’s there will be prices for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
There’s gonna be japanese food for sale and other fun stuff.

dollydealer1 asked: Has anyone gone on a daytrip from LA to Tijuana on holidays using a UK passport and if so can you let me know if you need something other than your standard USA holiday entrance visa to be able to do this? Read somewhere you might need a multiple entry visa but not sure if this is right and if this is something you can ask for on arrival in the US?

tiece20 asked: My husband is being deported. If it comes to it in the future and we have to move to Mexico I want to be somewhere close to the border so I can come back to visit. I’ve heard lots of bad things about Tijuana, but also some good ones. What is it really like? Are there any good parts of the city? How much is rent? What kind of jobs could my husband get if he doesn’t speak English? Anyone have any advice???
