ftroop888 asked: This question posed considering a $750 rent allowance. Also, is it feasible to live in Rosarito and work an 8 hour day in San Diego? If working 8 hours, what would be the total time if driving and border crossing are included? Thanks.

USA asked: I have heard so many stories of American citizens getting in trouble out there……kidnappings, robberies, harassment, and even murders. Is it really all that bad? Or are these stories exaggerated?

whbassociates asked: We’ll be traveling on a day-trip only with two grandmothers and myself - probably only to Tijuana or, possibly, as far south as Ensenada, but no further. Does she need a passport in addition to birth certificate and notarized permission from her parents to accompany us on this brief trip?
Senator Feinstein - my state senator - has been absolutely of no assistance with this question. Thanks for any input.

jessa asked: My friend recently bought a beach house out near the border in mexico and her dog has had puppies. I get the pick of the litter, but I plan on leaving my car on the state side and she is going to pick me up on the mexican side. I know I will need a vet form saying the dog is healthy (and they have to be at least 8 weeks) and I have to keep it in quarantine till I get the rabies shots,(4 months old) but I was wondering if I can cross the border at the border point where you walk in. Waiting in the line the cars wait is way too long and walking in and out is much faster! So naturally I would rather not drive…
What can I expect when I get to the border checkpoint? Do they just look to see the puppy is healthy and check the vet form? What happens? Thanks in advance!
