JEMJEM asked: I’m a u.s. citizen, but flying out of Tijuana because its cheaper. I know that i can cross the border walking without a passport because i do it all the time (i live in San Diego, California), but what I’m worried about is the flight from Tijuana to La Paz. Will there be a problem in Tijauna or La Paz, on the way there or back?
I don’t think you are understanding my question. I do know that you need a passport when flying to Mexico out of the U.S. simply because its an international flight. And i know for a fact that i only need a drivers license to walk across the border and back because i do it all the time. Since my flight is from Tijuana, Mexico to La Paz, Mexico, and considered a NATIONAL flight, do i still need a passport, or is my California DL sufficient even though I’m a US citizen? I don’t have my passport in my possession at this time, thats why I’m asking.

bigmonty91010 asked: Does ANYBODY have an update on Tijuana burn victim/California prison inmate Tomas Rodriguez…
For those who don’t kow about him, he was brought to the USA after being set afire by a boiling pot of vegetable oil at the family home in TJ…
KABC-TV reporter(now retired) Henry Alfaro featured him in an occasional series of reports called “A Face for Tomas”…
Henry kept in touch w/ Tomas and his family as he grew older, but severed his friendship in the mid-1990s when he found out that Tomas was currently an inmate in Chino State Prison(convicted of terrorizing his girlfriend and her dad)…last we heard, Tomas has FIVE(???) kids w/ at least two different women…he should be about 34-39 YO by now, and probably STILL in Chino State Prison(unless he got sent up to either Corcoran or Pelican Bay Prison)…
Please update me here…only CA Dept. of Corrections officials or other former KABC reporters need reply…
Thanks!
Please try again…more serious answers… because as far as I know, it wasn’t a life sentence he’s serving…

jit bag asked: I want to go check out Tijuana, but everyone says such bad things. I’m not really interested in going to jail. ;D
Tell me about any experiences you’ve had there. Any suggestions?
I won’t be partaking in any illegal activities or carrying gats around. I just like to travel and visit new places. Tijuana is like 15 minutes from me, soooo… I would like some info to travel safely.
AND I just moved to California 2 months ago..
