jessa asked: My friend recently bought a beach house out near the border in mexico and her dog has had puppies. I get the pick of the litter, but I plan on leaving my car on the state side and she is going to pick me up on the mexican side. I know I will need a vet form saying the dog is healthy (and they have to be at least 8 weeks) and I have to keep it in quarantine till I get the rabies shots,(4 months old) but I was wondering if I can cross the border at the border point where you walk in. Waiting in the line the cars wait is way too long and walking in and out is much faster! So naturally I would rather not drive…
What can I expect when I get to the border checkpoint? Do they just look to see the puppy is healthy and check the vet form? What happens? Thanks in advance!

rlcontreras05 asked: Still looking for the newspaper “insert” called “Empleate en Tijuana”. It’s a bi-weekly periodical that advertises employment, real estate, apartments, etc. Similiar to the “Pennysaver” booklets we see in the retail stores for free.
“Empleate en Tijuana” is distributed free in and around the San Diego/San Ysidro/Tijuana area. Does anyone have a “specific” clue on where to pick this up. BigDog’s advice is excellent but El-Mexican0 say’s no they do not distribute. Let’s give another try to the answer, we’re getting closer. Thanks everyone, Take Care of Yourselves. Be Nice.

scherzo_for_motorcycle_orchestra asked: I need to go to Caracas from either San Diego, Los Angeles or Tijuana but all tickets are near $2000 when I usually have paid around $500 from LAX. Is there any chance prices will drop? Maybe they’ll add more flights around the holidays or half-empty planes that need to be filled?
