db108108 asked: I’m a Canadian citizen vacationing in San Diego. I have also lost my passport, but have two pieces of government photo ID and my birth certificate. I was thinking of going to Tijuana (by car), but would I be able to get back into the US on my ID? I had my passport all of the other times, so I don’t know if it’s worth the risk.

auroraborealisdreaming asked: Am looking for a woman, a couple, or a family where I can stay as a paying guest for a week in early May. Coming to Tijuana for dental surgery. I am former Peace Corps Volunteer and Spanish teacher who is energetic, interested in getting to know Mexican people.
If you know a website where I can research this question, that would be a help. Thankyou for your answers!

periperirice asked: Hey everyone!!
I’m taking my third trip to Los Angeles in November and I wanted to do something a little different. I’m going for 8 days all together, and I was wondering how feesable it is to take about 2 days and visit Tijuana?
My worries are:
-Is it safe for two females, 18 and 21 to go alone?
-Will I be able to see much in 2 days?
-What are the hostels like, and can anyone recommend one that is clean and, dare to dream, cockroach free? We stay at Banana Bungalow in West Hollywood whenever I go to L.A. and its fantastic so I’m a little spoiled in regard to accomodation…
-What is the journey time from L.A. to Tijuana, and what is the best mode of transport?
Thanks so much, help would be appreciated.
All the best!

NONAME asked: I am actually fed up of Tijuana Police. I have been detained twice and there excessive fines make it impossible to visit Tijuana. TJ is my 2nd home and it hurts me not to be able to go. I have parked my car in San Ysidro, which is the only solution I see. But does anyone know a way to fight back against Tijuana police. I was detained last week and was going to be send to prison along with my girl for posessing “illegal prescription drugs” which actually had a prescription since my girl is bipolar. I was stopped because I was going too slow. They let us go without paying anything but it scared the crap out of me. There has to be a way to fight back anyone know how???
What if there is an AMERICAN BOYCOTT of Tijuana????

visitmexico asked: I want to attend a friend’s wedding in Cancun next month. I’m a filipino citizenship residing in Los Angeles. I lost my philippine passport and only have my greencard at the moment. With the current law, a passport is now required to fly from US to Mexico/Canada. Can I walk across the border in Tijuana and fly out of Tijuana airport to Cancun without any problem? I heard that’s still ok but only until the end of this year. After that, there’ll be a new law requiring a valid passport to cross the Tijuana border by foot….
